My name is Zac Galvan, and I am a dedicated dog trainer based out of Northwest Indiana , where I focus on helping dogs become cherished and well-mannered companions. Our training approach focuses on building positive behaviors through trust, communication, and engagement, creating stronger bonds between dogs and their people. Whether working with energetic puppies, household pets, rescues dogs, or working dogs. We are committed to unlocking each dog’s fullest potential and setting them up for a happy, confident and successful life.

  • This program offers daily training while your dog stays in a safe, structured home environment while your away.

    Your dog lives with the trainer and follows a customized training plan with multiple training sessions each day. You’ll receive regular updates, and at the end of the program, you’ll get a full owner hand-off session to maintain results.

  • Building solid foundations during the most important weeks of your puppy’s life.

    My puppy programs focus on socialization, confidence, potty training, crate training, and beginner obedience so your pup grows into a well-mannered dog.

    I offer two options

    • In-Home Puppy Lessons

      I come to your home to work with you and your puppy in their everyday environment. You’ll learn step-by-step how to handle nipping, jumping, potty training, and basic commands.

    • Puppy start up & Train Program

      Your puppy stays here with the trainer for a set number of weeks (for example: 4-8 weeks). During their stay, they follow a structured daily routine with multiple training sessions, crate time, socialization, and calm downtime. At the end of the program, you’ll have a detailed go-home lesson so you know exactly how to keep the training going at home.

About me continued...

My passion for dog training began when I was young and over the years, it has grown into a deep and unwavering commitment. This passion has fueled a lifelong dream of mine: to establish and run my own dog training business.

Before launching my own venture, I worked at a premier dog training facility. During my time there, I absorbed a lot of experience.

However, I believe that in life, there comes a moment when it’s important to move on and embrace new opportunities. Over the past several years, I have further developed my skills by learning from a lot of top-tier dog trainers both locally and across the United States, continuing to advance my expertise to better serve my clients and their dogs.

    After adopting Wolf, I quickly realized he needed a professional trainer due to his reactivity, especially challenging given my city work environment and bringing him daily to the vet office where I work. We started working with Zac, in April 2024, and he has been nothing short of incredible. We have completed basic, intermediate, and advanced training, scent work, a two-week board and train, and numerous private sessions. Wolf is now great with other dogs in controlled environments and has perfect obedience. I can even take him to dog-friendly patios now! We continue training with Zac to expand his skills. I highly recommend Zac, he’s been a game-changer for us!
